About MyMoneyLeak

A clearer way to understand what your bank statement is telling you.

MyMoneyLeak helps people review recurring payments, possible duplicate charges, fees, and spending changes without connecting a live bank account.

Why we built it

Bank statements contain useful information, but rarely present it clearly.

Important details can disappear inside pages of merchant names, references, dates, and amounts. A subscription may continue for months without being noticed. A duplicate charge can look like an ordinary transaction. A gradual price increase can be easy to miss.

We built MyMoneyLeak to make those patterns easier to review. The product organizes the statement someone chooses to upload and keeps the original transaction context visible.

It is not designed to make decisions for the user. It is designed to provide clearer evidence for better decisions.

Adam built MyMoneyLeak to make bank statements easier to understand without requiring a permanent connection to a bank account.

His work focuses on AI-assisted tools that surface recurring payments, possible duplicate charges, fees, spending changes, and practical bill-lowering options while keeping the underlying transaction details visible for the user to assess.

Adam also oversees MyMoneyLeak content covering bank statement analysis, recurring payments, duplicate-charge patterns, fees, and consumer spending.

Our purpose

Make personal finance review easier to understand without asking people to hand over permanent access to their bank account.

What the product helps review

Focused on the financial questions people actually need answered.

MyMoneyLeak is built around practical statement review rather than a complicated financial dashboard. Each feature should help someone understand a payment, compare a cost, or prepare for a conversation.

01

Review recurring payments

See subscriptions and repeating charges grouped by merchant, payment frequency, and estimated annual cost.

02

Check possible duplicate charges

Compare similar transactions using the original merchant, date, and amount before deciding whether further action is needed.

03

Understand spending changes

Review unusual movements, bank fees, and category changes across the statement periods you choose to upload.

04

Build a bill-lowering action plan

Review changes in a bill, research publicly available ways people have reduced similar costs, and prepare a clear step-by-step guide for speaking with the provider yourself.

How we work

Three principles shape every product decision.

01

Your statement, your decision

MyMoneyLeak presents information for review. It does not cancel payments, contact providers, or make financial decisions on your behalf.

02

No live bank connection

You upload only the CSV or PDF statement you want analyzed. Your online banking credentials are not required.

03

Evidence stays visible

Findings remain connected to the merchant name, transaction date, amount, and source statement entry.

Financial software should explain what it found and let the user decide what it means.

How findings should be read

A possible duplicate is not automatically a billing error. A recurring payment is not automatically unwanted. A spending increase is not automatically a problem.

MyMoneyLeak highlights patterns, shows the supporting transaction information, and leaves the final judgment with the person reviewing the statement.

How AI is used

MyMoneyLeak uses automated and AI-assisted analysis to identify patterns in uploaded statement data. Results are provided for review and may require user verification.

Bill-lowering guidance

Guidance is based on researched information and is designed to help users prepare for their own conversations with providers. MyMoneyLeak does not negotiate or contact providers on a user's behalf.

Content on this site is informational and is not individualized financial, legal, or tax advice.
